- 3 cups (500 grams) Bread Flour ( Yes I measure my flour on the heavy side, don’t worry about the grams the important thing is to read your dough ball)
- ¼ cup quick oats (soaked in ¼ cup of hot water)
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup oil
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 cup whole milk
- ⅓ cup water
- 2 ¼ teaspoon active yeast
Place ingredients in the bread pan and use the basic bread cycle.Choose the crust color you desire. Remember this bread browns a bit faster than white bread too.
After about 5 minutes of kneading take a look at your dough ball, if it is too dry add a tablespoon of water and if it is too wet add a tablespoon of flour.
Please remember Honey Oat bread dough should appear a little sticky and wetter than a normal white loaf because the honey will make it look wetter and the oats will absorb moisture.
Always allow your bread to cool completely before slicing.
